On Saturday, Israeli army chief Eyal Zamir conducted an evaluation meeting regarding the rocket attack launched from Lebanon that hit the northern town of Metula earlier in the day, according to statements made by the Israeli military.
The army stated that it holds the Lebanese government accountable for the breach of the ceasefire and warned that it would retaliate against the assault with severe measures.
The statement also noted that there have been no alterations to the guidelines issued by the Israel Defense Forces' Home Front Command.
